The New Orleans Dance Network is hosting the 3rd annual New Orleans Dance Week with exciting new events and activities for all ages leading up to National Dance Day. The celebration has three central components:
New Orleans Dance Week- $5 Class Challenge
July 17 — July 28
10 dance programs across the city are offering $5 adult classes for two weeks leading up to National Dance Day.
Classes are available for all levels in a wide range of genres, including African, ballet, belly dance, bounce, contemporary, hip hop, salsa, swing, and more. Adults that take class at 5 or more studios over the course of the two weeks will be entered in a raffle to win dance prizes such as free class packages and merchandise.

National Dance Day was created by So You Think You Can Dance producer and Dizzy Feet Foundation co-president Nigel Lythgoe.
