Southeastern Architectural Archive at Tulane University
6801 Freret Street, Jones Hall, New Orleans, Louisiana 70118
The Southeastern Architectural Archive is partnering with the Louisiana Architectural Foundation on August 17 for the Albert Ledner Exhibition — Opening Night Reception. This is in conjunction with the upcoming Architecture & Design Film Festival New Orleans.
Albert Ledner is a legendary mid-century modern architect from New Orleans. He has designed over 40 homes in New Orleans (making his influence on this architectural style strong in the city) as well as large-scale buildings in New York City like the National Maritime Union Building, and the Unitarian Church on Jefferson Avenue here in New Orleans.
This exhibition will be running for the next several months, and will be open to the public after our Launch Party at the normal SEAA regular hours.
