Anyone going to Nat'l convention should make sure their auxiliary has them listed as a Nat'l delegate. The deadline is May 31st. If you plan to attend the Nat'l convention you will save time by registering early.
Please note that registering to attend the convention and being listed as a delegate are two different things. Registering for the convention DOES NOT automatically make you a delegate. Delegates are elected by your auxiliary and transmitted by your auxiliary secretary.
We just don't want anyone to be disappointed when they get there so please plan now. If you have questions please ask them here, it may be a question someone else needs to ask.
Please check the last two months newsletter email. There you'll find the Nat'l delegate form which is different than department because at national convention your auxiliary gets 1 delegate and 1 alternate for every 50 members or a fraction thereof. So, for example an auxiliary with 55 members will get 2 delegates and 2 alternates to national convention. For department convention it's 1 delegate and 1 alternate for every 15 members or a fraction thereof. That has been confusing for many of our members in the past. Hopefully this information will be shared as it may be helpful to others. Again, we hope everyone going to national convention will be a delegate so our votes count.
