It’s the wedding that all gay New Orleans clowns have been clamouring for!
Glitter the Clown and Thugsy DaClown are tying the knot. Maybe a few knots.
Jay Tombstone/Glitter moved to New Orleans in 1997 and has been “that creepy clown in the Quarter” ever since. From 1997 til 2013 he lived in the Treme. Jay did improv comedy shows upstairs at Yo Mama’s from 2006 til 2013. Glitter can be spotted in the book WEIRD LOUISIANA and season 2 finale of HBO’s TREME.
Keer Chatham/Thugsy DaClown moved here from San Francisco in 2011, He’s become well known in the New Orleans burlesque community. He’s also an amazing musician and woodworker. You can spot Thugsy in the series finale of HBO’s Treme.
The two first met in 2003 at Short Mountain Sanctuary, a Radical Faerie community in Short Mountain Tennessee where Thugsy lived for 13 years. Glitter went for a one week visit for May Day and they met for the first time walking (running) towards each other on a nature trail both Dressed in Clown
