June 2017 marked the 70th anniversary of Secretary of State George C. Marshall’s iconic speech at Harvard University announcing the European Recovery Program, also known as the “Marshall Plan.”

For a special Meet the Author event on October 12, join Günter Bischof, Hans Petschar, and Ambassador Wolfgang Petritsch for a discussion of the book «The Marshall Plan – Since 1947: Saving Europe, Rebuilding Austria.» A 5 p.m. reception with a performance by the Panorama Jazz Band will precede the 6 p.m. presentation.

The evening is presented in partnership with the University of New Orleans Center Austria and the Austrian Marshall Plan Foundation. The event is free and open to the public, but please RSVP at ticketing link.
