Adan Jodorowsky Bio-
Born in France October 29, 1979, Adan Jodorowsky is the son of the renowned Chilean avant-garde film director Alejandro Jodorowsky, best known for his films «The Holy Mountain», «Santa Sangre» and «El Topo».
He has appeared in seven films to date. As an actor, he won the Saturn Award for Best Performance by a Younger Actor in 1989 for his role as young Fénix in «Santa Sangre», one of his father's more renowned films.
Jodorowsky started playing piano at the age of six. At age 7, he met James Brown backstage at a concert and Brown taught Adan how to «dance like him.»
Jodorowsky's first guitar lessons were given to him by The Beatles guitarist George Harrison. On this occasion, Harrison told him that «he was far». Adan did not know if «he was far» in an enlightened way or «far» from being a good guitarist.
On October 30, 2006, he released his first solo album, Étoile Éternelle, as «Adanowsky». His first single, «L'idole» (meaning «The Idol») was also released in Spanish as «El Ídolo».
In 2010, Jodorowsky released his solo album «Amador» featuring the song «You are the One» with Devendra Banhart youtube.com/watch?v=4SFxSKBhGG0
In 2013 Adan appeared in his father's film «The Dance of Reality» and composed its soundtrack-
He is currently the main character (young Alejandro Jodorowsky) in his father's movie “Poesía sin fin”, the second part of “La Danza De La Realidad.”
2017 marks the return of «Adan Jodorowsky»
