Trauma Center Trauma Sensitive Yoga (TCTSY)
Informational and Experiential Workshop
with Rachele Thompson, LCSW, TCTSY-F
Are you currently in therapy and working on symptoms or issues related to trauma?
Are you a therapist or healthcare professional supporting individuals through the process of trauma healing and recovery? Or perhaps, are you a yoga teacher interested in trauma sensitive yoga training?
If so, you may want to join this workshop to learn about TCTSY, an empirically validated adjunctive treatment that is specifically designed for Complex Trauma and Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). TCTSY group sessions differ from typical yoga classes in that all of the components of the group are informed by Trauma Theory, Attachment Theory and Neuroscience. This design is intended to create a safe space for individuals to explore being present in their bodies, decide how to move in their bodies, and cultivate awareness of body sensations. Along with understanding the components of a TCTSY group, you will also have an opportunity to experience these practices first hand.
Please join us in exploring and experiencing this exciting offering available in our community.
